Rick began his career in the medical profession as an Air Force Medical Service Specialist in 1967, spending time in emergency care at Reese Air Force Base in Texas and Da Nang, Vietnam. After military service, he worked as a nurse assistant at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH) and became a Florida paramedic in 1980, serving with TMH ambulances for nearly 11 years. During that time, Rick was also one of the original Aeromedical Specialists (Flight Medics) flying with Life Flight.
In 1987, Rick studied massage therapy at the North Florida School of Massage Therapy and went on to work with rehab clinics, resorts, chiropractors, and physical therapists. His spa experience includes time at The Grove Park Inn Resort in North Carolina, Francis Ford Coppola’s Blancaneaux Lodge in Belize, and the Ritz-Carlton Spa in Naples, Florida.
MEET RICK!
In November 2002, Rick attended a Basic Quantum-Touch® (QT) Workshop in Tampa, Florida. He reflects, “Of all the various modalities, jobs, and experiences I've had since 1967, Quantum-Touch has proven to be a quantum LEAP towards awakening the healer within me, and the answer to my prayers.”
Six years later, in November 2008, Rick successfully completed the Level 1 Domancic Method of Bioenergy Therapy (BT) workshop in Fort Myers, Florida. He shares, “With more than 21 years of offering massage therapy, I’m beginning to truly appreciate the benefits of using the innate energy provided by our Creator to help others heal. Energy-based therapy takes the ‘educated guess’ out of what ‘might’ be the source of pain or disease because the bioenergy is ‘informed’. It simply knows where to go!”
Since then, Rick has learned Level 2 BT (2010), Raymon Grace's Dowsing (2011), QT 2.0 (2016), and completed the upgraded BT Level 1 Live Online Course (April, 2025). There's more about each of these modalities within this website.
